This series of paintings explored EPA Superfund sites in my hometown of Baltimore, which I mapped out through their online database, and visited as research for the work. The sites included former wood treatment plants, toxic waste landfills, and oil spill sites, among others, that have either been closed to the public or transformed into businesses such as mini golf courses ("Super Fun Mini Golf"), parking lots, and housing developments.
