January 2018

My exhibit, Cover Crop, opens January 12th with a public reception from 6-7:30 at the California Center for the Arts Escondido, concurrent with Niki de Sant Phalle's exhibit, Mythical California. I will be giving a talk on my work on February 10th on Pay-what-you-wish Second Saturday at CCAE at 3pm, hosted by Edible San Diego Magazine. Both exhibits run until March 4th (with a closing event on March 4th).

A commissioned exterior mural I designed for the San Diego Airport will be installed in the coming months on Admiral Boland Way.

February 2017

I will be giving several public workshops in March including at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego downtown on April 5th, and at the La Jolla Historical Society in collaboration with the Fleet Science Center on March 7th. More information to come.

My work was is currently on display at Pomona College Gallery and included in the catalog for the exhibit, and on display at the La Jolla Historical Society starting February 10th (see below).

January 2017

I have work included in the exhibit Incendiary Traces, a project by Hillary Mushkin at Pomona College January 17th-May 14th, with an opening reception January 28th.

My work will be included in Weather on Steroids a series of collaborations between artists and Scripps Climate scientists, opening at the La Jolla Historical Society February 10th. This exhibit will travel to the San Diego Central Library in Summer 2017.

My installation Heavy Grass, will close at the Japanese Friendship Garden Pavilion in Balboa Park, San Diego, January 22nd.

October 2016

My work is featured this month at Little Paper Planes with an interview and prints for sale.

August 2016

My short illustrated book made through interviews with day laborers in San Diego, "Daily Labor" has been printed by Colpa Press in San Francisco.



I have an upcoming solo exhibit at the Japanese Gardens in Balboa Park, San Diego, in November 2016, work in "Weather On Steroids" at the La Jolla Historical Society in early 2017, and an interview and print series coming out with Little Paper Planes in October 2016.

February 2016

My solo exhibition is open at MiraCosta College's Kruglak gallery in Oceanside, CA with a reception February 18th from 6-8pm.


November 2015

I have a painting currently in the exhibit Rainmaker at the new San Diego Central Library.

January 2015

I will have works in the exhibit "Borrowed Landscape" at the Boehm Gallery at Palomar College in San Marcos, CA, opening February 3rd.

A solo exhibition of my recent large painted prints will open at the School of Architecture at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, March 30th.

I am looking forward to a residency at the Swatch Art Hotel in Shanghai in 2017.

August 2014

Produce is traveling to the Joseph Gross Gallery at the University of Arizona, Tucson, where I will give a public talk at the opening the evening of September 12th. It will be up until November.

April 2014

Through a Creative Catalyst Fellows grant, I am currently working on a project dealing with labor and immigration. With farm workers, I'm facilitating a series of printmaking workshops and a visual storytelling project on this topic.

Produce is on exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego downtown, open April 5- June 22, 2014.
There are opening events for the exhibit April 25th from 5-9pm, and April 26th from 11-7 at Public Squared. My Q&A with curator Elizabeth Rooklidge is available here.
